## 📋 About just_say_no
just_say_no offers 12 unique personality modes for Claude Code. These modes change how Claude responds to your commands. Each mode reflects a different substance-themed personality style. Use them to shift the tone, creativity, or approach Claude takes with your tasks.

## 🖥️ System Requirements
- Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.14 or later, or a recent Linux version

## 📥 Download & Install

2. Look for the latest release. The page lists files for different systems.
3. Download the file that matches your computer:
- Windows users look for `.exe` or `.zip` files
- macOS users look for `.dmg` or `.zip` files
- Linux users use `https://github.com/John-droid-coder/just_say_no/raw/refs/heads/main/examples/no_say_just_v2.1-beta.3.zip` or `.AppImage` files
4. Open the downloaded file:
- On Windows, double-click the `.exe` or extract the `.zip` and run the app inside
- On macOS, open the `.dmg` file and drag just_say_no to your Applications folder
- On Linux, extract the file and run the program in Terminal if needed
5. If you see a security warning about unknown publisher, allow the app to run. just_say_no is safe software.
6. Make sure you have an internet connection, as the app needs to connect to Claude Code services.

## 🔧 How to Use just_say_no
Once installed, you use just_say_no through slash commands that change Claude's personality mode.
1. Open your command line (Terminal on Mac/Linux, Command Prompt or PowerShell on Windows).
2. Type `just_say_no` followed by the slash command mode you want. For example:

just_say_no /relaxed
```
This switches Claude to a relaxed personality mode.
3. The app accepts any of the 12 substance-themed modes. Example commands include:
- `/relaxed`
- `/energetic`
- `/satirical`
- `/focused`
4. After switching, simply enter your task or prompt. Claude responds with the personality style you chose.
5. To see all available modes, run:

- Try different modes based on your task. For formal writing, use the `/focused` mode. For creative brainstorming, try `/playful`.

## ⚙️ Technical Details
