You can also check the transcript, comments, and original source. #### Find tutorials for a specific problem When you are learning a tool, exploring an approach, or stuck on a task, ask your AI to find relevant tutorials and examples. Open Study reads the content so the AI can use it to help with your situation. #### Build a library you can return to Save useful content instead of searching for it again. Search your library by title or content, add notes, organize items into folders, or export them as Markdown. ### Things to ask your AI **Read a link** > Read this video and pick out the practical ideas and things to watch out for. > [Paste a link] **Learn a new tool** > I want to build a small Python tool that organizes spreadsheets automatically. Find a few beginner-friendly, hands-on tutorials, read them, and help me build a simple version. **Research products** > Review these product videos. Who is each product suited to, and what problems come up? Keep the creators’ opinions separate from feedback in the comments. > [Paste links] **Find something you saved** > I saved a video about balcony storage that mentioned a folding drying rack. Find it and explain how it was set up. You do not need a fixed prompt. Describe what you want to accomplish. The answer can be a summary, a set of steps, a comparison, or a useful addition to work you have already started. ### Connect your AI tools Open Study provides a **Skill and an MCP connection**. The Skill guides the AI on when and how to use the material. MCP lets it read links, search your library, and save notes. To get started: 1. [Sign up](https://study.faroapi.cn/#register) on the website (or sign in), then open Quick start in the sidebar. 2. Choose the AI app you use. 3. Copy its installation prompt and send it to your AI to follow. 4. Reopen the app when prompted, then sign in to Open Study to authorize the connection. 5. Start a new conversation, ask your AI to check your library once, then try sending a link. Downloads include native Codex and Claude packages, an Agent Plugins standard package, Gemini CLI and Antigravity adapters, and a bundle of installation materials. Choose the option for your app. Installation and update instructions are available on the Quick start page. With the Skill installed, your AI considers tutorials and examples for tasks such as design, planning, and learning a practical skill. It may first explain how references would help. Once you have requested research or authorized it to consult references, it should find and read them, then use the findings in your original task without asking again. Actual use depends on the app, model, and conversation. Simple edits and requests to skip research do not need an extra suggestion. Your AI’s own web search finds new links; Open Study reads and organizes their content. ### Supported content Open Study supports eligible links from Bilibili, Douyin, YouTube, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Kuaishou, Weibo, X, and Instagram. - **Videos:** transcripts, comments, and basic information. Speech transcription can provide text when captions are unavailable. - **Posts:** post text, comments, and basic information. Available information varies by platform and item. The website and connected AI tools share the library associated with your account.
