# Where to Submit Your Startup [](https://github.com/mmmmingos/where-to-submit-your-startup/actions/workflows/links.yml) A free, open-source list of places to submit a startup: directories, launch sites, Reddit communities, and places that only take some startups, with real submission results. I keep it current by submitting my own site to the places on it and writing down what happened: whether the listing is really free, the catch, the fees, and the wait. Rows I haven't tried yet carry what the site itself says, and contributors add what they find. This list is the data behind [submitmystartup.com](https://submitmystartup.com/). To filter it, or to ask an AI assistant where to submit, use the website: it has a planner and an MCP server, and it shows what happened on each of my submissions. Unsuccessful attempts are useful too. ## How to read a row Every row has the site, whether it is free, notes, and when it was last checked. | Free? | Meaning | | --- | --- | | Yes | A free listing path with no material catch. | | Yes* | A free listing path with a catch you should know about: a badge on your homepage, a long free queue, a niche or regional gate, or a paid skip. | | No | Paid only. Reported submission problems have no Free? column, because it means nothing for a site whose submission path doesn't work. Notes hold listing facts only: the free path and its catch, posting rules, eligibility, and fees. Last checked is the date someone reviewed the submission route and terms by hand.
